This website is part of the non-profit "Pa DanceNet" PaDanceNet.com , which oversees Yahoo dance announcement groups in several cities.
The Scranton dance email announcement service was started about year 2000 as "The JoyceNet" by Joyce Knott.
Who The Heck Is James Ingram ??
- James Ingram has set up and been moderating several Yahoo groups since 2001 -- that send announcements for ballroom dancing, model railroading, and other topics. This includes the Yahoo groups for Williamsport (2001), Scranton (2002), Harrisburg Swing Dance Newsletter (2002, now moderated by others), and Allentown (2003).
- In 2010, he decided to try to add this free "dance message service" for Altoona, Erie, and Harrisburg -- which so far has been more of a challenge then he expected.
